Description:

Promenade – Artist and patron support

Whyte Avenue Art Walk is a visual extravaganza with 400 artists lining the Avenue, and filling parks and street closures in the heart of Old Strathcona.

Qualifications:

Volunteers should enjoy people, loving art is a bonus.

Training:

We host a volunteer orientation with a presentation, snacks, and an opportunity to decorate/personalize our Art Walk aprons. For 2024 the orientation is on June 26, at 6 pm, at Artelier Studios: 10045 81 Ave

Benefits:

Volunteering at Whyte Avenue Art Walk allows you engage with both the public and artists, and you will see a LOT of art and artists creating.

It is a feast for the eyes, and for artists who think they might participate in the future, it's an opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at the festival, talk to other artists, and see how they set up their displays.
